Data aqusition from RS485 port, RUT955

Hello,
we are planning to wire backside module temperature sensor to Teltonika RUT 955 trough RS485 Modbus RTU, Teltonika as a master. Is it possible to send the data that Teltonika would be reading to a server via some protocol like FTP, API or some other? What is the process behind it ?
We would like to use this data for reporting process.

Hello,

For this purpose, you need to configure Modbus Serial Client (Master) on RUT955 first. This will allow RUT955 to query the Modbus RTU server (slave) periodically and store this data in Modbus database.

Then, you can configure Data to Server to send data from Modbus database to your server over HTTP (for example, to your API) or MQTT.
