Custom firmware with preconfigured options - RUT950

Hi there,

I was able to build SDK for RUT950 without problems.
Now I want to make a preconfigured settings like for: port forwards, auto reboot, custom APN, different https port for routers webUI, openvpn, etc.

Does this involve creating custom directory in base SDK directory “files/etc/config” and creating files like network, uhttpd, firewall, openvpn, etc?

Yes. The simplest is to configure a router manually, and import the relevant files in files/etc/config

Thanks @flebourse.

Router is using SIM1 slot so I copied simcard and network because of custom APN. I flashed firmware and it seems everything is there except when I go to Network → WAN I get popup error “Failed to load data limit status” and “Failed to load data limit data”.

The data limit values are stored in /etc/config/quota_limit.
