I recently added a TRB500 in RMS and forgot to chose the right model type. So i incorrectly added a “RUT” device. The device remains offline.
In my confusion I thought adding a management pack might help. Bummer!
Is there a way to change the the devices model type from RUT to TRB without re-adding it and without losing the added management pack?

To add a RUT device to RMS for authentication, you need the LAN MAC Address and the IMEI of the TRB500. If you enter incorrect information, you will receive an error message indicating that the MAC or IMEI is incorrect. How were you able to add it successfully? What steps did you take to ensure validation?

From my point of view there was no validation of incompatible model types. I did not get an error message.
Chosen the RUT model by mistake (it is active by default, when clicking the “+ Add”-Button) I was able to enter a name, a S/N and a LAN MAC address as well as the password. From my perspective the IMEI is requested only when I first pick the TRB model type correctly.
