Cascaded 2 RUT 200s

Hello everyone,

In order to secure our internet connection we have cascaded 2 RUT 200s by connecting the LAN of the first router to the WAN of the second router and the LAN of the second router to a switch.

The 2 routers have a working SIM card.

My question is, if my first router is connected to the mobile network, the second router receives internet via the WAN port, but does the mobile connection remain active on the second router?
Thanks for your help

Hi…

The second rut200 will follow the balance/failover rule…

The second rut200 by default… only will use the sim card when the device lost internet access using wan. (connect to first rut200)

Hi Marcelo,

Thanks for your reply, we’ll give it a try.

Hello,

We tested @Marcelo.Barros answer, but our technician told us that when the main router works again, as router 2 is connected, it does not disconnect so that it is the main router 1 (master) that gives access to the internet.

Perhaps we’ve missed something?

Hi…

But… your ti guy… look at for Failover, correct? What is the configuration?
Please?? Can you share the screens of the second RUT200?
