Bricked RUT950, help

Hi, I own a RT950 I bought years ago.

My current issue is that I can’t access the web ui at all.

I’ve already tried updating/downgrading the firmware via index.html to no avail.

When I try to update the FW with uboot.html it won’t accept the file.

I thought this might be fixable with a bootloader update, but I couldn’t find the necessary files on teltonika website.

thanks in advance

Hello,

Could you please let me know if you are able to access the router via CLI by following these steps: Command Line Interfaces RutOS - Teltonika Networks Wiki?

If I understand correctly, you have already tried updating the firmware via the router’s bootloader menu: RUT950 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki

If yes, please let me know:

  • Which firmware version you tried to update.
  • Whether you saw any errors during the process.

If no errors were displayed, please try the following:

  1. Change the static IP on your PC to automatic.
  2. Execute ping 192.168.1.1 (or a different default IP if your router uses one) via CLI and share the results.
  3. Execute ipconfig in CLI and let me know whether the interface your router is connected to (e.g., Ethernet) shows a default gateway (by default, it should be 192.168.1.1, the router’s IP).

Best regards,
