Advanced mode while using RUTOS App

Hi,

I have RUT240 and RUT241 which i am trying to edit the APN using the RUTOS Application.
When i am using the Web UI , no problem, i have the option to switch between Basic and advanced , however when i am trying to edit the APN while using the App, i can not find the advanced option.
Am i missing something here?

Good afternoon,

Can you advise what Firmware you are using with the device?
As with newest firmware, basic/advanced choice has dissappeared. Now all functionality is presented with one mode.

Hi there,

In the first instance, If you could upgrade the firmware of the device itself, and upgrade the app version to the newest. Please advise if you still encounter any issues after that.

Hi,

The App is uptodate, downloaded 2 days ago from the App store.
Can someone share pictures from changing APN using the App?

I will update the router as well, but i just want to confirm that it is possible to change APN using the App.

Good afternoon,

The advice received from our RnD departament indicates that simply changing the APN in the RUTOS app is not possible.

However a workaround for this would be deleting the mobile network interface, and creating a new one using the app. As APN configuration is one of the first steps during new mobile network interface creation process.

Changing APN functionality is on the agenda for our App development team. Keep an eye out on our newsletter for changes on this topic.
