3x RUT241 no SSID and invalid password

I recently bought 3 “new” pieces of RUT241 and followed some instructions here in the forum.

I connect via mac and a docking hub via LAN to the RUT241, because no WiFi SSID is shown on either of these 3 devices.

When I connect, I can access http://192.168.1.1 and try to enter the credentials:
admin
passwort engraved in the most bottom line on the back side, but the error message says: “invalid password and/or username”

I need support, I tried everything I can think of. Changed my macbooks IP address, connected LAN to my fritz.box (got IP, but not accessable), connected WAN to my fritz.box (no IP)

Try doing a factory reset using the reset button - instuctions can be found here.

If that doesn’t work, try reflashing the firmware using the bootloader method. See a video at this link here. First download a fresh copy of the latest firmware, then use in the bootloader recovery process.

I tried factory reset and user reset before - that didn’t work.
I’ll try the bootloader firmware recovery process now.

@Mike That did the trick. After the firmware reflash everything is working as usual.
I didn’t know that I had to dive this deep to get a device going. Please insert this possible solution into the QSG

I’m just a normal forum member and have no links with Teltonika.

Out of the box, brand new and unused, your devices should not have required any reflash …. most unusual, especially to have 3 of them.
