We mentioned that the VPN connection should be more stable with firmware version 7.19; however, we did not state that DCO errors would be completely eliminated. In most cases, DCO-related issues are caused by network instability.
all our Teltonika routers are stationary, but with a mobile internet connection. the internet connection is very reliable, we also use different network providers in Germany.
However, the issue here is that the TLS session goes stale after 3600 seconds, openvpn client (Teltonika Router) tries to re-establish and somehow fails but thinks it re-actived the session.
OpenVPN CloudConnexa does drop the TLS session.
As a result (as stated in earlier posts):
0:00 - 0:59 VPN works
1:01 - 2:02 VPN does not work
2:03- 3:03 VPN works
…
Or in other works: Routers are 50% not reachable through VPN.
I do not want to recommend other vendors or products, but I want to point out that INSYS ICOM managed to fix these DCO issues last summer and provided the patch in their official firmware 1 month later. (Yes, against the same server, same type of sim cards and network provider)
Thank you for the clarification. To investigate the issue further, we will need to review your troubleshoot file. I have sent a form to the email address you used to register on the community forum. Once you complete the form, we will contact you privately.
