Hello,

I use several RUT955 routers with last fw 05.03.3. Some of them are working badly, i cannot acces anymore. Initially i thought that is related to 3G/4G signal so i have activate the auto-reboot function ( ping to google.com). It did not improve the results. I have setup for daily reboot at specific hour.. Still no improvements of comunication with this routers.

I realize now that the WEB service  ( WebGui) and all service related with this are failing because of unknown cause . Modem is working properly + equipment can be accessed by ssh, SMS reboot functions does not work for router that enter in this failing mode

Could you give some advises to resolve this issue?

We collect date from router by JsonRPC at any 2 min and we need to keep Json for data collection.

Hi,

Did I understand correctly that your issue can be solved only when you reboot router physically (power OFF/ON)? And only WebUI stops working?

Could you send SSH commands output result when issue is appeared? Run these commands

ps

top

df -h

We collect date from router by JsonRPC at any 2 min and we need to keep Json for data collection.

Could you describe more about this? What parameters you are reading via JSON?

Hello,

we collect by JSON RPC by cronjob, the fallowing s parameters:

- DIN1 and DIN 2 state

- DOUT 2 state + control

- analog input

- router temperature

- gsm signal level

- router uptime

Somethimes router gives Bad gateway error, somethimes does not respond the web service

I have uploaded the results of ssh commands at fallowing link

Please upgrade router firmware to latest release:

I have attached bellow an evidence of router with public IP that gives bad gateway error.

Besides WEb service and SMS utilities , remote SSh is also failing . please see the error in attached picture

I have managed to read by SSh from one equipment that has bad gateway error.

this is the process that takes 99% of CPU

PID  PPID USER     STAT   VSZ %VSZ %CPU COMMAND

 2002     1 root     R     2916   2%  99% /usr/sbin/gsmd -p /dev/modem_cmd -s 115200 -m auto

bellow is the word file with all process running by that time.

after reboot this servici "/usr/sbin/gsmd -p /dev/modem_cmd -s 115200 -m auto" takes maximum 1% of CPU
